AboutMe

Hello! My name is Shannon Morse. I'm a video host for a bunch of online podcasts about technology and geekery. I'm currently living in San Francisco and I'm involved in several shows. I've very much grown up as a geek my whole life and I'm trying to influence more young women to consider the fields of technology for their futures. StitchFix #5 Review

I got StitchFix #5 in the mail a couple of months ago and finally got around to posting my review of it.

With StitchFix you create an account and fill out an extensive profile about your likes/ dislikes, fits, styles, proportions, etc and you get your own personal stylist!

Read on for my Fix and more info!

Stitch Fix has re-invented shopping, the way women really want to shop. Keep your wardrobe up-to-date with no hassle. You give us your size and style preferences, and your stylist sends you a selection of 5 items picked just for you. Try everything on at home, and only pay for what you want to keep!

Free shipping both ways and a 25% discount if you buy all 5 items.

The best part is, the box of items is $20, that $20 goes towards whatever items you purchase, and overtime your stylist will learn what you like/ dislike, eventually winning you a keeper of all five items (with that 25% discount!). Then, you share your referral link with your friends and you get a $25 credit whenever they decide to order a box.

It's like Christmas presents every month.

Here is my fifth StitchFix!

Fix 1: Tart Marie 3/4 Sleeve Dress seemed a bit too melancholy and depressing for me. It was a simple black dress that didn't seem worth over $100. Back it went.

Fix 2: I requested this bag after seeing it on the StitchFix blog! It's the 41Hawthorn Alexander Magnetic Closure Tote Bag. The one on their blog was brown, and they sent me a green bag. While I thought it was very pretty, I've been searching hard for a brown bag, so back it went.

Fix 3: Daniel Rainn Bilson Detail Abstract Print Blouse is very pretty and definitely my style for fit and feel. I wasn't a big fan of the print though, so this one was shipped back as well.

Fix 4: 41Hawthorn Ivy Solid Tab Sleeve V-Neck Blouse is SO CUTE! This shirt was made for fall weather. It's a little thicker and heavier than the recent 3/4 sleeve shirts I've been sent, so it's great for colder months. Pair this with skinny jeans and boots, and we have a match. KEEP!

Fix 5: Dylan and Rose Ruthie Cross-Front Side-Ruched Top. It's a bit shorter than I prefer to wear and a little showy, but this top goes great with a black skirt or dark jeans for a date night. Keep!

So Fix #5 was definitely not my favorite bag of goodies. With all the green and red, it almost felt like someone was dressing me for a Christmas event! I only kept two items, but I love them both. Can't wait for my next fix!

What do you think? Have you checked out StitchFix yet? Have you had a lovely Fix you want to tell me about? Comment!

And as usual, please use my referral link! It gets you in and gets me a credit for my next Fix!
